Older People
Older People are an important part of our community and we value their contribution to the Northside of Limerick City; that’s why we provide a range of services and activities that older residents can participate in.
We are committed to helping older people maintain their independence. The service works closely with local Primary Care Teams in the HSE – in particular: Public Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and other agencies like the City Council to provide services which support older people to:
- Live independently in their own homes as long as possible
- Achieve a good quality of life
- Be active and involved in their community.
